About the role

In this contingent resource assignment, you may:

  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering.
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Python and React.
  • Build and consume REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions using structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Design and implement chatbots, AI assistants, and conversational AI platforms.
  • Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
  • Create cloud-native solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms.
  • Create scalable architectures supporting security, performance, and availability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
  • Implement DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Work with relational, NoSQL, and vector databases.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution design discussions.

Requirements

  • Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • We are seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy next-generation AI-powered applications that drive business innovation.
  • This role combines full-stack software engineering, cloud-native development, machine learning, and generative AI to build scalable enterprise solutions.
  • The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with expertise in Python, React, Azure cloud technologies, AI/ML development, and modern software engineering practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python.
  • Experience building front-end applications with React.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Azure development and deployment experience.
  • Experience designing solutions in AWS and/or GCP.
  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models.
  • Experience with chatbots, conversational AI, or AI assistants.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, scalability, and software design.
  • Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and production support.
  • Experience with relational, NoSQL, and vector databases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps.
  • AWS Lambda, SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Cloud Run.
  • Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, NLP, RAG LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, Prompt Flow.
  • MLOps and model lifecycle management.
  • Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Multi-cloud architecture experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
