Senior FOIA Disclosure Product Manager with Security Clearance

About the role

The Senior FOIA Disclosure Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) disclosure process. This position requires a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of FOIA disclosure policies and procedures.
• Manage the FOIA disclosure process to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Collaborate with legal and IT teams to enhance security measures and improve data access.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to FOIA processes.
• Monitor and analyze FOIA requests to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to FOIA staff on policy interpretation and procedural issues.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a product management or project management role, preferably in a government or regulatory environment.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information technology, business administration, or law.
• A security clearance is required.
• Experience with FOIA laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
