Senior Fleet Performance and Maintenance Lead
About the role
As the Senior Fleet Performance and Maintenance Lead, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting the Team Submarine In-service Program Office. Your role involves:
- Documenting, refining, and reporting on Fleet and Shipyard adherence to requirements.
- Making recommendations for the optimization of mission operations.
- Participating in the development of project key events and milestones.
- Monitoring and assessing project performance and execution.
- Providing operational planning and execution support.
- Conducting risk assessments and managing mitigation strategies.
- Facilitating stakeholder communications and coordinating with various organizations.
- Supporting the PMS 397 maintenance team in solving complex issues.
- Performing Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions.
- Evaluating CLB Logistics Products for adequacy and making recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- An Active and Current DoD Secret Clearance.
- US Citizenship.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- 15 years of related/similar experience.
- An advanced MS Office skillset including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Excel.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion in performing specified work requirements.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
- Strong understanding of submarine maintenance and system performance processes.
- Recent work experience associated with TRF Kings Bay and/or TRF Bangor.
- Experience with Program Management Institute (PMI) Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Experience in creating detailed decision support materials for senior leadership.
- Experience in providing feedback to programmatic documentation.
- Experience in reviewing test procedures and requirements documents.
- Ability to travel 25%.
