About the role
Amazon’s North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to be the trusted finance partner for fulfillment centers supporting operational and functional leaders. Amazon operates the most complex retail networks in the world, delivering billions of packages to hundreds of millions of homes and businesses annually. Responsibilities
- Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with little guidance, drawing conclusions and making recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements.
- Independently align financial and operational analyses with business partners, challenging assumptions when necessary.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to business leaders to support operational and growth decisions and action plans.
- Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes across teams and organizations.
- Own the financial reporting for a business area and may supervise or teach others in financial reporting.
- Identify and solve complex data integrity issues, collaborating with stakeholders on resolution while insisting on the highest standards.
- Develop and execute data analysis processes that are scalable and auditable.
- Communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting style based on audience to articulate complex finance issues.
- Create effective business partnerships with Site Leaders, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events.
- Participate in hiring, developing, and mentoring activities while seeking value and leveraging diverse perspectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain performance measurements and reporting on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the economics of the business.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
- 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience.
- Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.
- Experience as a lean sensei or working as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
- MBA or CPA.
- Knowledge of Tableau.
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

Pay
- USA, TN, Nashville: $60,200.00 - $105,400.00 USD annually.
- USA, TX, Irving: $66,900.00 - $117,100.00 USD annually.
- USA, VA, Arlington: $66,900.00 - $117,100.00 USD annually.
- USA, WA, Bellevue: $82,700.00 - $117,100.00 USD annually.
Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
