About the role
In this role, you will leverage financial expertise and business acumen to drive cost reductions, improve customer and employee experiences, and influence leadership decisions. You’ll play an active role in recruiting, coaching, and mentoring others while deepening your controllership knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Business Finance Support: Build financial models and analyses with minimal guidance, drawing actionable conclusions and recommendations. Align financial and operational analyses with business partners, challenging assumptions when necessary. Provide insights to support operational and growth decisions.
- Controllership: Own financial reporting for a business area, ensuring accuracy and scalability. Identify and resolve complex data integrity issues while collaborating with stakeholders to maintain high standards. Develop auditable data analysis processes.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to automate, standardize, or simplify finance and business tools across teams. Lead execution of improvements across fulfillment centers.
- Communication: Communicate complex financial data clearly and concisely, tailoring your approach to the audience. Partner with Site Leaders, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events.
- Team Leadership: Participate in hiring, developing, and mentoring team members while fostering diverse perspectives and value-driven collaboration.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.
- 4+ years of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
- 4+ years of experience creating process improvements through automation and analysis.
- 4+ years of experience identifying and executing opportunities to improve, automate, or standardize finance or business tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, business, or equivalent quantitative experience (5+ years in roles such as engineering, process re-engineering, or quality assurance).
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Advanced SQL experience for data mining and business intelligence.
- Experience as a Lean Sensei or Quality Assurance Engineer.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience participating in continuous improvement projects to scale controllership with measurable results.
- MBA or CPA.
- Knowledge of Tableau.
- Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

Pay
- USA, TN, Nashville: $60,200.00 – $105,400.00 USD annually.
- USA, TX, Irving: $66,900.00 – $117,100.00 USD annually.
- USA, VA, Arlington: $66,900.00 – $117,100.00 USD annually.
- USA, WA, Bellevue: $82,700.00 – $117,100.00 USD annually.
Compensation includes base salary, sign-on payments, and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
