Senior Financial Analyst Provider Compensation

Support the day-to-day operations of the provider compensation team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day activities to support the administration of provider compensation plans, including resolving issues, questions, and concerns pertaining to select clinical service lines.
  • Perform financial analyses and modeling to advise decision-making for clinical and operational leadership to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Partner with department clients/providers and internal finance, legal, and HR customers to address issues and conduct collaborative problem-solving.
  • Partner with Recruitment to develop standard materials related to the extension of provider offers and onboarding.
  • Advise upon and support the implementation of special projects, including addressing changing market demands for compensation and communicating various compensation programs/practices with a focus on change management.
  • Partner with the team and the Manager of Finance/Provider Compensation to develop standard deliverables, including those relating to the annual budgeting and benchmarking process.
  • Support the Fair Market Value review process for select clinical service lines, including the assessment of compensation in relation to productivity and other market factors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related work.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business or Finance (preferred).
  • Formal or informal leadership experience (preferred).
  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Michigan (preferred).

Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Shift: Day (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
  • Days worked: Monday to Friday.
  • Weekend frequency: None.

Primary location: 515 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, Department of Physician Compensation - Corporate.
