About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst – Oracle EPM partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology (FA&IT) teams to enhance financial visibility, reporting, planning, and decision-support capabilities across the organization. This role plays a key part in supporting executive leadership through accurate, timely, and actionable financial information.
Responsibilities

- Supporting accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting, planning, and consolidation processes
- Partnering with FA&IT teams to ensure EPM solutions align with business objectives and support executive decision-making
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing financial reports, dashboards, and Narrative Reporting content
- Providing ongoing functional and application support to Finance and Accounting users
- Promoting best practices, documenting processes, and supporting controlled financial workflows aligned with SOX and internal control requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including application enhancements, automation, and optimization of existing EPM processes
- Reviewing Oracle Cloud releases, performing testing in non-production environments, and recommending adoption of new features
- Developing and enhancing business rules, calculations, metadata, and Narrative Reports aligned with financial and reporting requirements
- Collaborating with IT, managing service providers, and Oracle Support to resolve technical issues and maintain stable system operations
- Supporting Finance initiatives and projects by translating business requirements into effective EPM solutions
- Participating in governance and change management activities, including testing, documentation, and quarterly access and configuration reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Master’s degree (MBA, MS Finance, MS Accounting, or related discipline) preferred
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA preferred but not required
- Oracle EPM certification(s) strongly preferred
- 4+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting, with working knowledge of financial close, consolidation, planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting or administering EPM environments, including configuration, maintenance, and patching activities
- Experience contributing to EPM implementations or enhancement projects, including configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
- Experience building and supporting financial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for management and business users
- Ability to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and support solution design through implementation, integration, testing, and end-user training
- Hands-on experience with EPM modules, including FCCS, ARCS, and EPBCS (Projects, Workforce, Capital, Financials)
- Working knowledge of scripting and configuration related to business rules, calculations, and translation logic
- Working knowledge of SOX requirements and experience supporting internal controls within financial systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, support low- to mid-complexity initiatives, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot functional and technical issues
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across FA&IT teams
- High level of initiative, willingness to learn, and desire to grow into increased responsibility and leadership
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to continue developing EPM and financial systems expertise
- Fluent in English, oral and written required
- Ability to adjust schedule to meet business needs
