Senior Financial Analyst, NA Stores Finance

To support our continued growth, we are seeking talented finance professionals to join our North America Stores Financial Planning & Analysis team.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the NA Stores MEC and Plan documents.
• Consolidate and analyze submissions from finance teams across Amazon.
• Aid in the creation of final meeting documents for Amazon’s executive team.
• Deliver insightful analyses and narratives to senior leadership.
• Own and prepare quarterly Outlook for NA Stores.
• Leverage Cognos/TM1, Apliqo, and other corporate financial systems for deep dive analysis and results summarization.
• Engage with business finance teams to support timely financial deliverables.
• Drive efficiency improvements through the use of AI in finance processes.
• Partner with the business and other Corporate FP&A teams to create workback calendars.

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or a combination of a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role experience (e.g., engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance).

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
• An MBA or CPA certification.
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
