To support our continued growth, we are seeking talented finance professionals to join our North America Stores Financial Planning & Analysis team.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the NA Stores MEC and Plan documents.
- Consolidate and analyze submissions from finance teams across Amazon.
- Aid in the creation of final meeting documents for Amazon’s executive team.
- Deliver insightful analyses and narratives to senior leadership.
- Own and prepare quarterly Outlook for NA Stores.
- Leverage Cognos/TM1, Apliqo, and other corporate financial systems for deep dive analysis and results summarization.
- Engage with business finance teams to support timely financial deliverables.
- Drive efficiency improvements through the use of AI in finance processes.
- Partner with the business and other Corporate FP&A teams to create workback calendars.
Requirements
- 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
- 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
- 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
- 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or a combination of a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role experience (e.g., engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance).
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
- An MBA or CPA certification.
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
