About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Human Interest Finance team as we continue to propel our high growth business helping Americans save for their future. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the Corporate FP&A team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement world class financial reporting and forecasting processes, encompassing long-range planning and scenario modeling
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and their teams to provide ad hoc financial analysis and budgetary support
  • Deliver actionable insights to inform key decisions and align capital allocation with strategic company initiatives
  • Identify and streamline processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions on the “way we do things” to support our next phase of elevated growth and scale
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively measure financial performance against strategic objectives
  • Help us understand where we have room for improvement across the P&L
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve our FP&A systems to enhance operational efficiency while making the system easy to use
  • Prepare materials for Board of Directors meetings, investors, and internal reporting

Requirements

Self-starter, challenging the status quo, and provide recommendations
3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A at high-growth software company and/or investment banking
Deep understanding of SaaS business models and a proven ability to analyze key SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, Churn, LTV, CAC)
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets and financial systems (ideally Netsuite and Pigment)
Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Netsuite, Workday, Anaplan. Expertise in Pigment a plus!

Demonstrated agility in learning and ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills - ability to collaborate across functions and levels throughout the company, as well as with external partners

Pay

The base salary for this position spans $110,000 - $140,000 and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximum in our highest geographic region. The salary we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the U.S., their relevant job-related skills, and experience.

Schedule

At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall total rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonuses, commissions, and equity may be offered.
