Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports with actionable insights.
- Led monthly close activities, including variance analysis and performance commentary.
- Report and analyze cost of goods sold, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and quality of all financial data.
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and key metrics.
- Provide day-to-day finance partnership to manufacturing operations, offering insights that support operational decisions and investment prioritization.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs, recommending corrective actions where needed.
- Partner with business leaders to translate financial data into strategic recommendations.
- Use financial insights to drive actions that improve efficiency and profitability.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and special projects.
- Perform ad hoc analyses to support evolving business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or CPA/CA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Able to influence indirectly and challenge assumptions constructively — the role requires “the ability to drive change inside the organization and play the devil’s advocate as necessary.”
