About the role

The Columbia Sportswear Finance Enablement team supports the organization in creating capacity, efficiency, and scalability by optimizing how we drive value creation. They are also driving innovation in the application of advanced analytics and automated intelligence. This role plays a key part in transforming global Finance capabilities, with a focus on relentless improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate various process improvement efforts within Finance, or cross-functionally, using Lean principles and tools.
  • Collate and report on the benefits of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Create and deliver Continuous Improvement training and coaching.
  • Maintain and update Continuous Improvement resources like the SharePoint site and monthly newsletter.
  • Aid in maintaining and updating Continuous Improvement resources like the SharePoint site and monthly newsletter.
  • Work with business process owners to drive measurable benefits through process optimization efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with business process owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to create efficient and effective processes.
  • Summarize and communicate options and improvement recommendations to sponsors for informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with passion for process improvement.
  • Highly collaborative communicator and meeting facilitator.
  • Accustomed to tight deadlines in a growing business environment.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Finance or process-related professional experience.
  • Leverage Lean/Six Sigma belt certification/experience.
  • Prosci or similar change management certification/experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or equivalent experience.

Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Lean principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
