Senior Finance Analyst

Tactica Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Finance Analyst for a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) G4 for the Plans and Operations Division on Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute annual and multi-year budgets for G4, including budget estimates, spend plans, narrative justifications, and projected funding requirements.
• Monitor, track, and report obligations, expenditures, contract actions, financial deliverables, and funding status to support timely budget execution and decision-making.
• Prepare, review, and process financial and procurement documentation, including Financial Requisition Summary (FRS) forms, and in GFEBS MIPRs/DD Form 448/448-2, Purchase Requisitions (PR), G-Invoicing actions, and Direct Charge actions.
• Utilize GFEBS, WHS DAI, and other approved financial systems to maintain accurate financial data, resolve transaction errors, reconcile discrepancies, and support financial reporting requirements.
• Analyze program plans, funding requirements, contract modifications, cost reports, invoices, accruals, subcontractor costs, incremental funding needs, and unliquidated obligations to identify issues, gaps, and recommended corrective actions.
• Coordinate with USASMDC G-8, Contracting Officer’s Representatives (COR's), financial management offices, customers, and other stakeholders to support funding execution, cost reconciliation, obligations, de-obligations, and contract closeout actions.
• Maintain organizational files, folders, databases, correspondence, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate records management and continuity of operations.
• Support mid-year and end-of-year reviews, contract closeout actions, and administrative requirements to ensure funds are properly executed in accordance with applicable fiscal law, policy, and established procedures.
• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective coordination, issue resolution, and mission execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience.
• Proficient working in a flexible environment and demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize, delegate, and multi-task.
• Excellent time management, good judgment, conflict resolution, and written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly proficient using MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, Teams, Outlook).
• Ability and willingness to occasionally travel in support of customer requirements.
• U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance at the appropriate level for the duration of the contract.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of U.S. Army rank and grade structure, and government civilian pay scale equivalencies.
• Demonstrated ability to determine differences between contract types (Cost-reimbursable, Time and Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), etc.) and experience working within typical CLIN/SLIN/ACRN structure breakdown (i.e. Labor, Travel, and ODCs).
• Knowledge Management Support Tools (KMST) Information System familiarity.
• General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) data management tool and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) familiarity.
• Unliquidated/Negative Unliquidated Obligations (ULO/NULO) resolution experience.
• Active security clearance with current investigation.

Physical Requirements

• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.
• Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
• May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.

Pay

$115,000.00 - $140,000.00 USD per year.
