Senior Field Service Representative
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex systems using technical manuals, schematics, and reach-back support to resolve electro-mechanical issues.
- Perform software installations at customer sites and support data collection events for analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues independently or in collaboration with others.
- Respond to situations where first-line technicians have been unable to isolate or resolve problems with malfunctioning equipment or software.
- Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues to engineering teams.
- Serve as the primary interface with customers while on site.
- Support other company functional areas, including customer installations and training.
- Deliver customer training on the operation and maintenance of Saab products.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience, MA/MS degree with 3+ years of experience, or a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 9+ years of relevant military experience supporting radar, C2, or weapon systems.
- Must hold an active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
- Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and replacing components weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience, MA/MS degree with 3+ years of experience, or a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 9+ years of relevant military experience supporting radar, C2, or weapon systems.
- Must hold an active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
- Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and replacing components weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with radar, C2, weapon systems, or other complex electrical systems.
- Ability to independently perform system troubleshooting and maintenance using established procedures to resolve complex issues.
- Ability to perform system troubleshooting and maintenance beyond the scope of written procedures.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to use common diagnostic test equipment, such as a digital multimeter (DMM) and an oscilloscope.
- Ability to identify degraded system performance and recommend methods for improvement.
