About the role
The WTR practice is seeking experienced construction engineering professionals to join our dynamic team. Projects are diverse and require quick turnaround times to support larger sewer rehabilitation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil design from concept to completion
- Create and review civil equipment and specifications
- Interface with suppliers, clients, and other engineering disciplines
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets
- Manage change orders and ensure design compliance
- Prepare and present technical reports and cost proposals
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced engineers
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and adhere to QA/QC processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program with 7+ years of experience
- EPC project experience preferred
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with 6+ years of experience and EPC project experience preferred
- Expert knowledge in civil engineering techniques and procedures
- Strong computer skills in relevant software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience leading discipline design and managing teams
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred

- AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM (Revit), Civil 3D, PLS, PLS-CADD, RISA-3D, MathCADD
- Hydraulic, hydrologic, pavement, civil analysis programs
