SENIOR FHS DATA MANAGER/ANALYST, School of Medicine, Framingham Heart Study

About the role

The Framingham Heart Study, located in Framingham, MA, is seeking a Senior Data Manager/Analyst to serve as a senior technical lead responsible for end-to-end data management, statistical programming, and data integration activities that support the Framingham Heart Study and the FHS Laboratory Department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and maintenance of secure, scalable data pipelines
• Ensure high-quality dataset production
• Support FHS research studies across their full lifecycle
• Drive improvements in data standards, reporting workflows, and data governance practices
• Provide analytical support to investigators
• Resolve complex data issues
• Contribute to training and best practice development
• Guide the modernization of legacy data assets
• Integrate emerging data sources
• Help shape long-term departmental data strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of related experience, or master's degree with 3-5 years of related experience
• Fluent in SAS and R programming languages
• Hybrid work arrangement, with onsite activities in Framingham, MA

Qualifications

• Must adhere to NIST SP 800-53 Moderate Rev.5 security requirements

• Strong understanding of data management principles and practices
• Experience with data integration and pipeline design
• Proficiency in SAS and R programming languages
