About the role
We are seeking a Senior FactoryTalk Systems Engineer to join our team. This position involves leading or working on a project team responsible for the design, configuration, and testing of systems supporting robust operation, maintenance, and recovery of complex, distributed industrial automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead or work on a project team responsible for the design, configuration, and testing of systems supporting robust operation, maintenance, and recovery of complex, distributed industrial automation systems.
- Anticipate and provide solutions to project leadership and/or customer as part of a project team, giving high priority to customer satisfaction and forward-looking technology.
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule & travel, if necessary, to participate in the design, development, and start-up of automation systems at the client's facility.

Requirements
- 5+ years experience in industrial automation systems.
- GMP systems experience strongly preferred.
- BS Engineering.
- Detail oriented with strong technical aptitude and desire for learning new technologies.
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, design criteria and codes relevant to Instrumentation and Controls.
- ISA S88 Batch standard, ISA S95 Controls System Architecture standard, GAMP 5 & cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11.
- Demonstrated ability to develop process control system applications, provide control system startup services, troubleshoot existing control systems and perform control system qualification.
- Expertise with the design, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of virtual server-based control system architectures, and understanding of control system network topology.
- Knowledge of process instrumentation specification, installation & troubleshooting, and control panel design, check-out, commissioning & troubleshooting.
- A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Application Knowledge in: Designing, deploying, and maintaining Rockwell FactoryTalk AssetCentre and related applications in a GMP environment.
- Interfacing and bridging data to a broad range of automation and enterprise systems, including PLC systems, HMI platforms, and SQL databases.
- Implementing distributed systems on virtualization platforms.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
