Senior Facilities Specialist

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversight of safety on active projects
  • Maintenance of project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness
  • Communication and collaboration with DENSO departments to determine project needs and requirements
  • Creation and tracking of purchase requisitions for construction materials and services
  • Leadership and management of project management for active construction, including budget, schedule, timekeeping, and daily issue resolution
  • Conducting weekly progress meetings with the team and stakeholders to review project status
  • Creation and maintenance of punch lists to track and address construction-related issues
  • Affordance of assistance in project leadership, providing guidance and support to team members
  • Overseeing contractor work, especially during weekends and holidays, ensuring safe practices
  • Travel to other SSR DENSO locations as needed to assist with project management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management, with a preference for 2-5 years
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for budget tracking and data management
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts, including checkbook balancing
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel for project management support when required
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and best practices is preferred
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset to address construction challenges
