Senior Facilities Service Manager - Data Center - Mechanical (M3)
for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate (cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions). Also remove "Why Oracle Cloud Infrastructure?" maybe that's part of benefits? It's more about culture; could be part of About the role? But we need to decide sections.
We have content: Job Description paragraph at start: "This role is focused on service execution, uptime protection, mean time to repair reduction, and long-term asset performance rather than mechanical system design. A key objective of this position is to build, lead, and continuously improve an in-house self-perform maintenance program , ensuring the team has the capability, processes, and discipline to safely execute maintenance and troubleshooting activities in a mission-critical environment."
Then "Responsibilities Eligibility and Location Requirements" heading? Actually the text: "Responsibilities Eligibility and Location Requirements This position requires U.S. citizenship and is located onsite in Saline, Michigan. Relocation assistance may be available in accordance with Oracle's relocation policies." Then "Key Responsibilities" list.
Then "Ideal Candidate Profile" (maybe Qualifications). Then "Skills And Competencies". Then "Preferred Skills / Certifications". Then "Physical Demands / Work Environment". Then "Why Oracle Cloud Infrastructure?" (maybe Benefits? Actually it's more about culture). Then "Qualifications Disclaimer: ..." then "Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $126,200 - $264,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral." Then benefits list. Then "The role will generally accept applications for at least three calendar days..." (application instruction, remove). Then "Career Level - M3". Then "About Us" (maybe About the role? Actually about company). Then EEO boilerplate (remove). Also "Physical Demands / Work Environment" is a section; we could treat as Requirements? But we have no explicit Requirements section besides eligibility and location. Could combine eligibility/location into a short p under Requirements? The instruction: Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to decide which sections we have content for.
We have:
- About the role: The initial job description paragraph (focus on service execution etc.) could be About the role.
- Responsibilities: The list under "Key Responsibilities". Also maybe some responsibilities earlier? We'll put that.
- Requirements: Eligibility and location (U.S. citizenship, located onsite in Saline, Michigan, relocation assistance). Also maybe physical demands? But physical demands could be part of Requirements or separate? The instruction says we can have Requirements section; we could include eligibility, location, physical demands? But physical demands is more about work environment; maybe we could have a separate section? Not in the list of allowed headings; but we could put under Requirements or maybe under Skills? Better to keep to allowed headings. We could put physical demands under Requirements as part of job requirements. Or we could omit if not fitting; but we must preserve all substantive info. So we need to include physical demands somewhere. Could add a
under Requirements after eligibility. - Qualifications: Ideal Candidate Profile (experience, education). Also maybe the "Qualifications Disclaimer" about immunization etc. That's boilerplate? It's a disclaimer; maybe we keep as part of Qualifications? It's not boilerplate; it's a qualification disclaimer. We'll include. - Skills: Skills And Competencies + Preferred Skills / Certifications. - Benefits: The benefits list after "Oracle US offers a comprehensive benefits package..." - Pay: The hiring range "$126,200 - $264,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral." - Schedule: Not explicitly given; there is mention of 24/7 mission-critical operations, regular attendance, schedule flexibility, response readiness required. That's schedule info. Could be under Schedule section. The instruction: include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. We have schedule info: "This is a mission-critical onsite role supporting 24/7 operations where continuous uptime is essential; as such, regular attendance, schedule flexibility, and response readiness are required." That's specific. So we can create a Schedule section with that. - About Us: Could be About the role? Actually we have an "About Us" paragraph about Oracle's mission. That's not about the role; it's company description. Could be considered "About the role"? Not exactly. But we could treat as "About the role" maybe combine with initial description? However the instruction says About the role heading for e.g. About the role. We could put the initial job description paragraph there, and maybe also include the "About Us" as part of that? But that might be mixing. Better to keep About the role as the initial description; and we could omit About Us as it's boilerplate? It's not exactly boilerplate; it's company description but could be considered generic. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. About Us is not explicitly listed to remove, but it's not substantive to the role; it's more marketing. However we must preserve ALL substantive information; is About Us substantive? It's about Oracle's mission, not directly about the role. Might be considered not essential. But we could keep it under a section like "About Oracle" but not in allowed headings. Safer to omit? The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." If we omit About Us, we are removing some detail. Is it substantive? It's about the company's mission and AI etc. Might be considered filler but still part of posting. However typical job postings include such blurb; but the instruction didn't say to remove company description. It only listed specific boilerplate types to remove. So we should keep it. Where to put? Could be under a heading "About the company"? Not allowed. Could we put under "About the role"? Might be okay to extend that section to include both role focus and company description. The heading "About the role" could contain both. That would preserve the info. Thus sections:
About the role
This role is focused on service execution, uptime protection, mean time to repair reduction, and long-term asset performance rather than mechanical system design. A key objective of this position is to build, lead, and continuously improve an in-house self-perform maintenance program, ensuring the team has the capability, processes, and discipline to safely execute maintenance and troubleshooting activities in a mission-critical environment. Only Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care. If you require accessibility assistance or accommodation for a disability at any point, let us know by emailing accommodation-request_mb@oracle.com or by calling 1-888-404-2494 in the United States.
But note that the last paragraph includes EEO statement and accommodation request; that is EEO/equal-opportunity boilerplate. The instruction says remove EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. So we must remove that accommodation request line and EEO statement. Also the Oracle is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer paragraph later must be removed. So we need to strip those. Thus About the role should include the initial role description and the "About Us" paragraph (the mission statement) but not the EEO/accommodation lines. The "About Us" paragraph we have: "Only Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care. And with AI embedded across our products and services, we help customers turn that promise into a better future for all. Discover your potential at a company leading the way in AI and cloud solutions that impact billions of lives. True innovation starts when everyone is empowered to contribute. That’s why we’re committed to growing a workforce that promotes opportunities for all with competitive benefits that support our people with flexible medical, life insurance, and retirement options. We also encourage employees to give back to their communities through our volunteer programs. We’re committed to including people with disabilities at all stages of the employment process. If you require accessibility assistance or accommodation for a disability at any point, let us know by emailing accommodation-request_mb@oracle.com or by calling 1-888-404-2494 in the United States." The last two sentences are EEO/accommodation; we must remove them. So we keep up to "We also encourage employees to give back to their communities through our volunteer programs." Then stop before the accommodation sentence. Thus About the role paragraph: combine role description and that truncated About Us. Now Responsibilities: we have list under Key Responsibilities. We'll output- items.
We need to ensure we don't include duplicated lines. The responsibilities list includes many items; we will copy them exactly as given.
Responsibilities list:
- Lead the onsite mechanical facilities technician team responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service execution for mission-critical cooling and HVAC systems.
- Serve as the direct manager for Mechanical Facilities Technicians, providing day-to-day leadership, work prioritization, coaching, performance management, and development.
- Build and lead an in-house self-perform maintenance program for mechanical systems, including planning, training, execution standards, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee maintenance and service execution for large-scale mechanical and cooling infrastructure, including chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, piping systems, and associated controls interfaces.
- Manage vendors, contractors, and internal service teams, enforcing SLAs, workmanship standards, response expectations, and safe execution practices.
- Track system health, equipment reliability, energy performance, maintenance effectiveness, and service execution metrics, using data to improve uptime and reduce repeat failures.
- Own mechanical safety programs, regulatory compliance, and technician training related to maintenance execution, refrigerant handling, contractor oversight, and safe work practices.
- Support incident response, service restoration, capacity changes, maintenance planning, and post-event reviews to strengthen reliability and execution discipline.
- Partner closely with Facility Managers, Engineering, Reliability, Controls, Construction, and Commissioning teams to ensure effective handoffs, operational readiness, and maintainability of installed systems.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance procedures, spare parts readiness, documentation quality, technician capability, and service response standards.
- Ensure the site is prepared to support 24/7 mission-critical operations through proper staffing, escalation readiness, training, and maintenance planning.
Now Requirements: eligibility and location plus physical demands.
Eligibility and location: "This position requires U.S. citizenship and is located onsite in Saline, Michigan. Relocation assistance may be available in accordance with Oracle's relocation policies."
Physical demands: The paragraph under "Physical Demands / Work Environment". We'll include that as part of Requirements.
Thus Requirements section:
Requirements
This position requires U.S. citizenship and is located onsite in Saline, Michigan. Relocation assistance may be available in accordance with Oracle's relocation policies.
