Senior Facilities Coordinator

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing and directing the activities associated with facilities management, planning, design, and real estate construction/remodeling. Establishes and maintains good business relationships with operations managers, property managers and outsourced service providers in order to create a safe environment.

Position Details

• Oversees building maintenance comprised of preventative and upgrade work required for upkeep and improvement of buildings and their components.
• Ensures cleaning is performed to required standards and practices.
• Maintains relationships and contracts with cleaning vendors.
• Reviews maintenance and service contracts, providing adjustments and recommendations for optimal life of equipment.
• Communicates with contractors and local service group members to constantly ensure a high level of service, including negotiation of any new agreements in conjunction with current contracts.
• Builds and maintains working relationship with vendors and suppliers.
• Supports new projects and growth planning for all buildings by region.
• Reviews annual routine maintenance and care of existing structures.
• Monitors installation of security system at all locations.
• Inspects and tests security hardware and fire safety equipment.
• Develops documents and implements facility safety drills (i.e., fire, storm, emergency).
• Monitors all significant security matters and reports to management and owners, as needed.
• Performs any additional assignments as requested/needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• 4-6 years' related experience
• Understanding of budgeting and accounting
• Time management skills and ability to multi-task between a variety of responsibilities
• Procurement and negotiation skills
• Confident decision making
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications
