About the role

The Senior Executive Host is responsible for generating new business, expanding the market geographically and across diverse customer segments, increasing rated play, and driving incremental trips and revenue from VIP players. This role grows annual revenue in alignment with the property plan and cross-property goals. The Senior Executive Host serves as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, encouraging repeat visits, and responds to players’ needs and requests while resolving issues in accordance with established guidelines. This position requires effective time management, a high level of visibility on the gaming floor to build and maintain relationships with coded players, and outbound sales efforts to drive incremental revenue and trips, generate new business, and tap into new market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Grow actual revenues annually, consistent with property plan and cross-property goals
• Generate new business and expand marketing reach
• Develop and maintain guest loyalty and incremental visitation through personal contact (telephone, on-property hosting, off-property entertaining, telemarketing, direct mail, and email) using available services and promotional opportunities
• Manage constant contact and communications with VIP players via telemarketing, email, and SMS about services, promotional opportunities, special events, and resolve customer complaints to assure retention and repeat business
• Work special events servicing VIP players
• Monitor and adjust performance to local competition
• Ensure a quality gaming experience through personal services and meeting the needs of the VIP player
• Review VIP activities and promotional status with Director/Vice President of Relationship Marketing
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

• Ability to assume responsibility for independent/self-directed action
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment
• Strong time management skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven success in a venue environment
• Knowledge of Player Tracking Systems (a plus)
• Knowledge of all gaming regulations
• Ability to recognize problem gaming signs and deal with them appropriately
• Flexible availability including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and participation in the on-call rotation program

Qualifications

• Five (5) to ten (10) years’ experience in player development, marketing, sales, and/or gaming
• Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
• Ability to work in an environment exposed to alcohol and smoking
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by applicable regulatory entities or Live’s operating standards

Physical Requirements

• 24/7 environment requiring extended hours including evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift and/or push up to 30 lbs
• Ability to work standing for up to 4 hours at a time
• Ability to work in small, confined areas
• Ability to bend at the waist
• Ability to reach above the head
• Ability to climb ladders and use Genie Lifts
