Senior Executive – Business Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including variance analysis (Budget vs Actual)
• Analyze revenue, costs, gross margins, and operating expenses
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams for financial insights
• Conduct product/customer profitability analysis
• Support pricing strategies and new business proposals
• Evaluate capex proposals and ROI analysis
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and management dashboards
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Support leadership presentations with data-backed insights
• Monitor operational costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives
• Affirm compliance with financial policies and internal controls
• Assist during internal and statutory audits
• Develop financial models for scenario planning and forecasting
• Work with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Other) for reporting
• Improve reporting automation and financial processes

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Advanced MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred)
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Business acumen with strong stakeholder management skills
• Effective communication and presentation abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA / Equivalent
• B.Com / Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
