Who you are
We are looking for an Executive Assistant who enjoys being the calm, steady presence behind a busy President of a company. This role is about partnership, trust, and keeping things moving. You will help the President of our company stay focused, organized, and prepared, while bringing clarity and follow through to a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who sets the bar for professionalism, shows up with confidence and discretion, and takes pride in doing things the right way every time.
What we are looking for:
- Prior proven experience supporting a President, CEO, or senior executive
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow through
- Clear, concise, and executive level written and verbal communication skills
- Strong judgment and the ability to operate independently with minimal direction
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, high trust environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and modern collaboration tools
What you will do:
- Serve as the primary administrative and strategic partner to the President, managing complex calendars, priorities, and daily logistics
- Act as a gatekeeper and trusted advisor, helping protect the President’s time and focus
- Anticipate needs, identify conflicts, and proactively resolve issues before they escalate
- Cook up meetings end to end, including agenda preparation, briefing materials, action item tracking, and follow through
- Manage communications on behalf of the President with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with absolute integrity
- Coordinate travel, expenses, and scheduling with precision and attention to detail
- Partner closely with senior leaders and cross functional teams to ensure alignment and clear communication
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance executive and organizational effectiveness
What you bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive assistant role, supporting C-level executives
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow through
- Clear, concise, and executive level written and verbal communication skills
- Strong judgment and the ability to operate independently with minimal direction
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, high trust environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and modern collaboration tools
- Master's degree in business administration, communications or related field (nice to have)
- Experience supporting board of directors' meetings and executive leadership teams (nice to have)
- Background in a growing or fast-moving organization (nice to have)
- Experience working with senior leaders across multiple departments (nice to have)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, anticipatory working style (nice to have)
Work Environment:
- Type of Work: Remote in DC, MD or VA
- Occasional travel required to support
- May require flexibility in working hours to accommodate the President's schedule
