Senior Event Marketing Manager
About the role
Working within Appian’s Marketing team, the Sr. Event Marketing Manager will assist in the global strategy, planning, and execution of a variety of in-person marketing programs including tradeshows and industry conferences. This role will also manage operational, implementation and post-program activities including lead formatting, program analysis, budget reconciliation and ROI reports.
Responsibilities
- Craft and execute strategic, results-driven marketing programs and pipeline generation and growth
- Utilize Salesforce.com to analyze campaign data and track/measure marketing initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
- Manage all aspects of 3rd party anchor trade shows, including strategy, planning, execution, and post-event analysis
- Support the planning and execution of global Appian conferences in US and EMEA
- Track and report on key performance indicators and analyze program results and pipeline measurement
Requirements
- Proven success crafting and executing strategic, results-driven marketing programs and pipeline generation and growth
- Demonstrated proficiency utilizing Salesforce.com to analyze campaign data and track/measure marketing initiatives
- Strong executive presence with the ability to confidently present to and engage with leadership teams, effectively commanding the room and driving strategic discussions
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in an event management role at an enterprise software organization
- Strong leadership characteristics and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge & experience with using Event Marketing & Management solutions (Cvent)
- Knowledge & experience with these types of tools & technologies – CRM (Salesforce), Marketing Automation (Pardot), Travel & Expense Management (Concur & Allocadia) and other marketing technologies is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Bachelor’s degree
