Senior Estimator - Jacksonville
About the role
Winter Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator for an exciting opportunity to work on diverse, fast-paced projects across various markets. The company is busy and growing rapidly, offering numerous advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Estimate projects across a wide range of markets including Education, Office, Historic Preservation, Adaptive Re-Use, Hospitality, and Municipal.
- Lead estimate efforts independently, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.
- Develop GMPs and manage conceptual estimating processes.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of estimating experience with a Commercial General Contractor (GC).
- A strong understanding of construction pricing, market conditions, and trade scopes.
- Experience with both conceptual estimating and GMP development.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- Background in one or more of the following markets: Education, Office, Historic Preservation, Adaptive Re-Use, Hospitality, or Municipal.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating software.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adjust estimates accordingly.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
