Senior Estimator

A nationally active construction firm specializing in sports, athletic, and recreation facilities is seeking an Estimator to support preconstruction and bidding efforts across projects nationwide.

This Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates for sports construction projects, collaborating closely with preconstruction, operations, and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates for sports construction projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis across multiple trades
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
• Develop budgets, GMPs, and bid proposals
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and value engineering discussions
• Support project handoff from preconstruction to operations

Project types may include:

• Athletic complexes and stadiums
• Indoor and outdoor sports facilities
• Recreation centers and training facilities
• Specialty sports surfaces and site-intensive projects

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction (sports experience strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and cost drivers
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Pay

$120,000 - $135,000 per year
