About the role
The Gallagher Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Consulting Practice helps organizations navigate uncertainty and achieve their strategic objectives. Our team partners with clients to identify, assess, and manage risks that may impact organizational success. By leveraging industry-leading ERM frameworks and methodologies, we help organizations optimize decision-making and strengthen resilience in an increasingly complex business environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement customized Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs and frameworks for clients across diverse industries.
- Lead risk assessments and facilitate workshops focused on risk identification, evaluation, prioritization, and mitigation strategies.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and deliver recommendations and presentations to executive and board-level stakeholders.
- Develop ERM tools, resources, training programs, and best practices to support client success and practice growth.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand Gallagher’s ERM services.
- Support business development initiatives through proposals, RFP responses, client presentations, and industry networking events.
- Represent Gallagher at conferences, webinars, and professional forums.
- Contribute to thought leadership through articles, webinars, training sessions, and other market-facing content.
- Provide ERM subject matter expertise to Gallagher producers and internal teams.
- Support the ongoing enhancement of Gallagher’s ERM methodologies, technology solutions, and knowledge-sharing resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- 5+ years of direct Enterprise Risk Management experience.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with:
- COSO Enterprise Risk Management Framework
- ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard
- Industry ERM best practices
- Expertise in facilitating enterprise risk assessments and risk workshops.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to executive leadership and boards of directors.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including: Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of management, leadership, or supervisory experience (preferred).
- One or more of the following certifications are preferred but not required:
- Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
- RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP)
- RIMS-Certified Risk Officer (RIMS-CRO)
- PECB ISO 31000 Certification

Pay
The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will be influenced by factors including previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
