About the role

The Senior Equity Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the administration and delivery of global equity programs within the organization. This role ensures accurate equity lifecycle management, supports employees' understanding of ownership, and enhances operational controls as the company grows as a public entity. The position plays a critical role in maintaining equity data integrity, compliance, and coordination across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the lifecycle of RSUs, options, and other equity awards including grants, vesting, exercises, settlements, transfers, cancellations, and terminations.
  • Manage equity events such as new hires, promotions, retention, and annual refreshes in compliance with plan rules and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate data across equity platforms, HRIS, payroll, broker, and finance systems through regular reconciliations and validation.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Tax, Legal, Finance, HR Operations, and Mobility on complex operational cases involving withholding, settlements, cross-border moves, leaves, and terminations.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports supporting equity expense, forecasting, reconciliations, audits, and control testing.
  • Apply and support compliance with securities regulations, insider-trading rules, fair market valuations, recordkeeping, and control requirements.
  • Manage equity operations communications, providing timely support to employees and managers, and maintain educational resources.
  • Monitor processing accuracy, reporting timeliness, and data integrity; liaise with vendors to support automation, system testing, corporate actions, and new country launches.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in stock plan administration or equity operations, preferably within a publicly listed multinational company; relevant certification such as CEP is advantageous.
  • Solid knowledge of various equity awards, vesting schedules, exercises, settlements, payroll and tax interfaces, global mobility, and plan controls.
  • Experience with public-company reporting, share-based compensation, audits, internal controls, and trading-window processes; familiarity with SEC, Nasdaq, or foreign private issuer guidelines is beneficial.
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and data management, with experience using equity administration platforms, HRIS, payroll interfaces, and handling large datasets.
  • Strong judgment, organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to manage deadlines, clarify complex equity topics, and build trusted relationships.

Pay

Base compensation range: $115,000—$146,000 USD
