Job Summary
Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate to support a leading biotechnology company focused on developing innovative therapies and bioengineered organ technologies. This position is onsite in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance, calibration, and equipment tracking systems to ensure accurate equipment status, documentation, and work records
- Cook up preventive maintenance, calibration, and vendor service schedules while driving on-time completion of planned activities
- Monitor open work orders, vendor certificates, and documentation gaps to ensure timely closure and compliance with GMP requirements
- Administer user accounts and access controls for maintenance and equipment management systems
- Support system validation activities, upgrades, configuration changes, testing, documentation, and change control processes
- Cook up vendor services, site access, and logistics while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and GMP standards
- Cook up with Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to resolve equipment, service, and documentation issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience; Associate’s degree and 5+ years of experience; or High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of experience in equipment lifecycle management within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environment
- Experience managing equipment systems, vendor services, maintenance programs, and inspection readiness activities
- Strong knowledge of equipment documentation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and data integrity practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive activities to on-time completion across cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting system validation, user access administration, and change control processes
- Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
