Senior Equipment Engineer

About the Role

Coordinates company-owned and rented equipment maintenance, licensing, and utilization records for an assigned project or district.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing all vehicle licensing, registration, and record-keeping for assigned project vehicles.
• Conducts inspections of equipment and parts.
• Handles logistics management and communication.
• Performs long- and short-range equipment planning and scheduling.
• Supports craft maintenance technicians by ordering parts, managing inventory, scheduling crews, and ensuring quality and safety.
• Performs additional assignments as directed by management.
• Schedules and monitors all vehicle and equipment maintenance and oil changes.
• Schedules all crane inspections to ensure timely and compliant maintenance.
• Works closely with third-party equipment rental vendors to track hours, hire dates, and total hours used.
• Maintains project utilization schedules for assigned projects or districts.
• Maintains knowledge of the company’s values and strategic plan.
• Supports published corporate policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Driver’s License required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to identify issues and recommend solutions to management.
• Knowledge of corporate billing software and MS Office Suite preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on multiple projects while prioritizing tasks.
• Willingness to work in both office and field environments.
• Strong work ethic, organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Pay

Salary range: USD $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year.
