About the Role
The Senior Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Analyst supports the operation and advancement of the Enterprise Risk Management Program by facilitating enterprise awareness and training of risk-based concepts, policies, and practices. This role provides independent oversight and constructive challenge regarding risks throughout the organization, assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of operational risk frameworks, measurement methodologies, policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures to ensure management of risk.
The Senior ERM Analyst executes assigned tasks across the Enterprise Risk Management Program, offering risk analysis, reporting, and support to multiple stakeholders to effectively identify, measure, monitor, and mitigate risks. This includes assessing enterprise and business exposures through the identification of key and emerging risks and evaluating alignment with risk strategy and risk appetite.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate enterprise awareness and training of risk-based concepts, policies, and practices.
- Provide independent oversight and constructive challenge regarding risks throughout the organization.
- Assist in planning, developing, and implementing operational risk frameworks, measurement methodologies, policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.
- Support First Line of Defense and Second Line of Defense activities to mature the enterprise risk management program.
- Execute tasks in all aspects of the Enterprise Risk Management Program, including risk analysis, reporting, and support to stakeholders.
- Assess enterprise and business exposures by identifying key and emerging risks and evaluating alignment with risk strategy and risk appetite.
- Facilitate meetings with business units and ERM assessment workshops.
- Partner with and train key stakeholders on risk management practices.
- Serve as a risk advisor for internal stakeholders, strategizing and developing solutions to mitigate and monitor risks.
- Act as a subject matter expert and system administrator for the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solution.
- Review and monitor data input into the GRC system for reasonableness and accuracy, troubleshoot end-user issues, and design system workflows.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of related experience.
- General and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to perform risk assessments and facilitate risk discussions.
- Strong working knowledge of risk management theory, tools, and practices.
- Ability to develop common risk strategies, language, and culture.
- Ability to promote a consistent level of risk awareness.
- Knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
- Ability to sit for extended time periods.
- Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment.
- Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000/yr - $114,000/yr. The actual salary may be higher based on experience, skills, education, and location.
