About the role
The ideal candidate will provide architectural leadership for cloud-based data platforms, enterprise data governance, modern data warehouse solutions, AI-enabled analytics, and digital transformation programs. The architect will define strategic roadmaps, guide technology selection, establish enterprise data architecture standards, and collaborate with executive leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready data management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise data management strategy and modernization roadmap.
- Architect next-generation enterprise data warehouse platforms.
- Led technology evaluations and solution architecture decisions.
- Develop enterprise data governance and management frameworks.
- Define customer engagement strategies for enterprise data initiatives.
- Assist in designing enterprise data management organizational structures.
- Develop implementation roadmaps, execution plans, and project cost estimates.
- Recommend emerging technologies to support business transformation.
- Architect scalable data lake and lakehouse solutions.
- Drive cloud enablement and digital transformation initiatives.
- Balance business priorities with technical architecture decisions.
- Provide architectural leadership across multiple enterprise initiatives.
- Mentor technical teams and establish architecture best practices.
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Support enterprise architecture governance and review processes.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18+ years of IT experience.
- Extensive experience with Enterprise Data Management Architecture.
- Proven experience designing enterprise data warehouse modernization strategies.
- Strong experience developing enterprise solution architectures.
- Experience implementing cloud-based enterprise data platforms.
- Ability to architect solutions using emerging technologies and modern technical landscapes.
- Experience working with State or Local Government agencies.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- TOGAF or Zachman Enterprise Architecture certification.
- Experience with large-scale cloud migration projects.
- Experience implementing AI/ML-enabled analytics platforms.
- Experience leading enterprise data governance initiatives.
- Experience with modern Data Mesh and Data Fabric architectures.
