Senior Enterprise Administrator (6207) - Enterprise Applications

About the role
The application administrator lends technical support related to the development, implementation, integration, customization, optimization, and maintenance of applications critical to the organization. This role serves as the primary point of contact for application-related issues, system configuration, upgrades, and ongoing operational support. They work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and project managers to ensure applications remain secure, reliable, available, and are aligned with business needs and objectives. These applications include both cloud-based and on-premises hosted systems.
Responsibilities
- Administers and maintains a portfolio of enterprise applications, ensuring optimal system performance and availability.
- Serves as technical subject matter expert and primary escalation point for enterprise systems as it relates to system functionality, features, and configuration.
- Responsible for the configuration of applications, workflows, and business rules.
- Participates in system design, architecture, configuration, or enhancement projects.
- Maps and designs application interfaces, including applications’ connections and dependencies.
- Manages third party vendors, consultants, and project partners working on enterprise systems.
- Participates and helps coordinate system upgrades, integrations, interfaces, and improvements alongside other stakeholders.
- Troubleshoots and helps resolve customer application problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related discipline preferred.
- Six (6) years of proven progressive responsible experience in application administration including systems analysis, configuration or management, and administration preferred.
- An equivalent combination of experience and education, i.e., two (2) years of related experience equating to one (1) year of formal post-high school education, may be considered in lieu of the above requirements.
- Demonstrable experience in managing cloud-based enterprise applications, e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, preferred.
- Experience with user access management and role-based security preferred.
- Experience related to enterprise application administration in any of the following areas required: finance, supply chain management, human resources and benefits, project and grant management, or enterprise asset management.
Pay
Salary range: $93,080.00 - $116,350.00
