Senior Engineering Program Manager

About the role

This role will serve as a key bridge between engineering, operations, and executive stakeholders to keep complex technical initiatives moving forward. You will own intake, triage, and prioritization for urgent requests while helping translate high-level vision into clear execution plans. The position also supports architectural transitions, cross-team dependency management, and greater visibility into product health and risk across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary engineering representative in cross-functional intake and triage meetings
• Manage the routing of urgent requests and ensure timely action on leadership decisions
• Track project dependencies with operations and provide clear upfront requirements to engineering teams
• Facilitate architectural transitions to improve product interactivity and responsiveness
• Lead internal engineering audits and support risk identification across teams
• Create and maintain executive dashboards to improve transparency around product health
• Clarify roles and optimize ownership dynamics during complex service rollouts across multiple product pods

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of software architecture concepts, including microservices and API versioning
• Proven ability to convert high-level visions and meeting notes into structured project plans
• Expert-level proficiency in Jira and related workflow-mapping tools
• Skill in diplomacy and influencing cross-department alignment without direct authority
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential workflow bottlenecks
• Demonstrated commitment to cultural values such as humility, inclusion, and leadership
• Experience in high-growth or pre-IPO technology environments

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $175,000 – $220,000 annually
