Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams across SW and Cloud programs delivering features
  • Manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Establish and manage cross-functional teams across PLM, SW, Systest, Technical publications, customer service to drive deliverables across all phases in NPI PLC
  • Identify cross-functional interdependencies and risks, and successfully plan and manage those interdependencies and risks
  • Adept at leading various levels of team members, managers, and executives to deliver NPI programs
  • Update and maintain program status, milestones, budget, risk, and program schedule on a regular basis
  • Communicate program status and drive escalations with senior leadership to keep scope, schedule, budget within tolerance
  • Review and optimize critical path and schedule considering multiple interrelated projects and any risks that materialize
  • Lead and drive HW programs and critical initiatives as needed

This position requires cross-team coordination, project management, and the ability to present to executives. This role requires excellent technical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. The candidate needs to be a “go-getter” and drive deliverables and issues to closure with a high sense of urgency in this fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 10-12 years of experience in an IT product-based company, preferably in a Telecom/Networking domain
  • 7+ years of Program management experience, preferably with 5+ years leading SW/Cloud programs
  • Demonstrated experience in handling multiple concurrent complex projects from concept stage to delivery
  • Manage scope, budget estimates (headcount and non-headcount), and schedule
  • Expert in using JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project/Smartsheet
  • Experience in using repository and managing access for documents

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Scrum Master (SCM) certification

Relocation is not available for this position. Very minimal travel is needed for this role. This is not a remote job. No direct reports or people management responsibilities.

Pay

The expected salary/wage range for this position is:

  • United States of America: Annual Salary USD 120,000 - 243,000 in California (base salary; variable incentives may also be offered)
