Senior Engineering Program Manager
About the role
This role drives execution across a defined portion of the Manufacturing Innovation and Technology project portfolio, partnering with engineers across Centers of Excellence (COEs), OU’s, and manufacturing sites to mature technologies from concept through feasibility and readiness.
Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in advancing manufacturing technologies that reduce risk, enable innovation, and improve patient outcomes.
- Manage feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended.
- Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Organize the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.
- Oversee the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies.
- Guide the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products.
- Monitor documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development.
Requirements
MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications):
- 7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree
- Strongly Preferred: Previous Medtronic experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid presentation and computer skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong project management skills, including experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
- Effective planning and organization skills including the proven ability to work against multiple objectives simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Able to develop and adapt business processes to support a dynamic and growing organization
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous Medtronic experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

$171,200.00 - $256,800.00 USD
