What You'll Do
- Lead the preparation and development of contract and construction drawings for highway and rail projects using industry software such as MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer
- Mentor junior and mid-level designers, ensuring quality and consistency across project deliverables
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to support project requirements, schedules, and budgets
- Participate in project review meetings and support the preparation of technical reports, material costs, and construction estimates
- Prepare project “As-Builts” documentation and support field assignments related to transportation infrastructure projects as needed
What You Bring
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, or related technical field required
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in document production within the engineering discipline required
- NHDOT experience preferred
- Proficiency in discipline-based software (MicroStation, OpenRoads) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative work ethic
- Solid working knowledge of transportation engineering discipline
- Ability to lead design drawing layout
