Responsibilities

  • Design Coordination: Lead and integrate inputs from civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering disciplines to deliver cohesive and constructible designs.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage design schedules, budgets, and deliverables in alignment with overall project timelines and client expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design issues and align expectations.
  • Quality Assurance: Review design documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify design-related risks and implement mitigation strategies early in the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain organized records of design decisions, revisions, and approvals; prepare regular progress reports for leadership and clients.
  • Techical Leadership: Mentor and guide design team members, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading complex design efforts across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive results in a collaborative environment.
  • Passion for technical excellence and mentoring emerging professionals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in water infrastructure design and project delivery.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Experience with municipal, industrial, or federal water projects preferred.

Pay

In accordance with pay transparency laws, compensation will be based on your education, experience, and location.
