Senior Engineer - Mobile Application

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Engineer - Mobile Application to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on building and enhancing secure mobile software that supports complex product requirements in a highly technical environment. You will partner closely with product and engineering stakeholders to deliver production-quality Android features while maintaining strong standards for reliability, usability, and security. The position also requires translating business needs into elegant technical solutions and ensuring code quality through testing and disciplined development practices. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $180,000 – $195,000 annually Responsibilities Protect intellectual property and user data by adhering to secure software development policies Maintain and communicate project status in Jira and during daily standups Reconcile product requirements with an understanding of Android internals Implement production-quality features for the mobile application Enhance the mobile application to leverage Android ecosystem capabilities Create unit tests and execute test suites using a test automation framework Qualifications 5+ years of experience developing mobile applications on Android 3+ years of experience leading mobile application development Strong proficiency in Kotlin, including coroutines and Flow Experience with Jetpack Compose for declarative UI Familiarity with Gradle (Kotlin DSL) and multi-module Android projects Experience with a dependency injection framework (Koin, Dagger, or Hilt) Strong working knowledge of MVVM and unidirectional data flow design patterns Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Parental leave Life and disability insurance 401(k) plan with employer-matching contributions Performance bonus based on company-wide performance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
