Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering - Onsite

Pay Rate: $77.64/hr. Start/End Dates: 9/1/2026 - 8/31/2027

About the role

This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. The duration of this contract is a minimum of 12 months with a possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the purchase, assembly, installation, and testing of custom or off-the-shelf manufacturing equipment and fixtures
• Develop custom inspection fixtures/equipment including mechanical setup, LabView software development, and machine learning
• Author manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, attribute charts, and PPAP documents
• Create prints for components used for product repair
• Coordinate and troubleshoot incoming inspection / FAI of product components
• Set up manufacturing lines for product repair and inspection

Requirements

• Fluent in reading prints (components, custom fixtures, etc.)
• Strong writing and documentation skills
• Experience with assembly and testing of fixtures/equipment
• Experience supporting manufacturing lines
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Strong ability to independently problem-solve (technical and non-technical)
• Minimum of 2 or more years of experience
• Experience with building and testing fixtures and equipment
• Experience authoring manufacturing documents
• Ability to efficiently manage supporting multiple projects and independently problem solve

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent
• LabView/TestStand experience a plus
• Medical device experience a plus
