Senior Engineer I, Radio Frequency Engineering

As a Sr. RF Engineer, you will design and develop RF circuits for semiconductor equipment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of Electrical, Mechanical, and Embedded Engineers in an office/lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Design RF matching networks, amplifiers, splitters, combiners, couplers, and sensors, ranging from 400kHz to 2.45GHz
• Design magnetics for RF circuits and micro-strip circuits
• Perform requirements capture, analysis, design, debugging, integration, and verification of analog circuits
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical designers to develop and execute project plans and requirements
• Utilize RF test equipment to test high-power RF circuitry in a lab environment
• Handle high-power RF equipment and circuitry safely
• Troubleshoot analog, digital, and mixed signals at the hardware level
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• RF circuit design and simulation experience (400kHz to 2.45GHz)
• Experience with low and high-power design up to 20kW
• Electrical circuit simulation using ADS, OrCAD PSpice, or similar software
• Electromagnetic simulation using Ansys or similar software
• Minimum 10 years of experience performing the essential job functions (may be relaxed for candidates with a Ph.D.)
• Close attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving abilities and oral/written communication skills
• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Ph.D. preferred)
