Position Summary
The RF Engineer will support the research, development, integration, and evaluation of advanced RF sensing and signal processing technologies. This role focuses on characterizing RF environments, designing and evaluating RF front-end architectures, and supporting the maturation of next-generation signal processing algorithms from concept through demonstration.
Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate RF signal collection architectures.
- Characterize RF propagation, interference, and spectrum environments.
- Support algorithm developers with RF performance data and sensor modeling.
- Perform RF system modeling and simulation.
- Develop test plans and support laboratory and field testing.
- Analyze collected RF data to validate algorithm performance.
- Coincide with systems and software engineers on end-to-end implementation.
- Document technical findings and present results to government stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 7+ years supporting RF systems.
- Experience with: RF receivers, antennas, spectrum analysis, MATLAB and/or Python, signal characterization.
- Understanding of communications, radar, EW, or SIGINT systems.
- Candidate must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree.
- Experience with software-defined radios.
- Familiarity with NIWC, ONR, DARPA, or NAVWAR programs.
- Experience supporting classified test events.
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI Access and CI Polygraph is preferred.
