Senior Engineer I - Civil

Responsibilities

• Manages a small team of engineers and technicians in the Pune/ Bangalore office.
• Coordinates design work being shared by the project managers and engineers from the United States.
• Technical specialization and personal initiative are pluses.
• Leads in the engineering design of civil engineering scope including site planning, roadway, water, waste water design, and storm water drainage.
• Performs specific engineering studies, engineering calculations, and other design analysis using industry software.
• Evaluates the work of technical staff.
• Manages projects and technicians in the performance of master planning, land/site development projects, public roadways and drainage projects, and related work including technical design, quality control, and project management.
• Led in the development of technical documentation, specification, drawings, requisitions, proposals, and presentation to clients.
• Sound technical design background.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D is must and other design software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of Indian design codes & standards is must.
• Knowledge of U.S. design codes and standards is a plus.
• Related local experience required.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.E./M.Tech/MS in Transportation Engineering a plus)
• 6 to 8 years relevant experience on Indian Projects is a must (experience in US projects a plus)
• Experience of managing & designing civil/site development and master planning projects
