About the role

Weber Blackstone is a leader in outdoor cooking innovation, design, and consumer delight. As an Associate IT Security Analyst, you’ll join the Information Security team and collaborate with the broader IT Infrastructure team to administer IT security services across Weber’s enterprise network. This entry-level role supports security analysis, incident response, threat management, identity and access management, risk and compliance, network security, and endpoint management. You’ll help operate and improve Weber’s evolving security program while executing security operations processes across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors intrusion detection systems and security toolsets to identify suspicious and malicious activities, inadequate security practices, network traffic anomalies, vulnerability scans, computer viruses, and unauthorized user activity that may compromise system and data security.
  • Executes security operations processes, including security application administration, ticket response, and incident response tasks.
  • Supports Information Security projects, such as application research/selection, system upgrades, installations, and new technology initiatives.
  • Assists the Information Security & Risk Manager with monitoring and analyzing threat intelligence data.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to support and uphold security standards and processes.
  • Assists the IT Infrastructure team with server patching.
  • Documents and manages identity and access management capabilities.
  • Supports the development and coordination of enterprise-wide security training, communication, and outreach efforts.
  • Collaborates with technology partners, support representatives, and IT management to coordinate and remediate security risks.
  • Stays current with security-related technology, best practices, and regulations.
  • Prepares technical and status reports for management review.
  • Supports vendor and contract management activities, including analysis.
  • Assists in creating and maintaining security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • May require occasional off-hour response to security incidents or collaboration with other regions.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
  • Passionate about learning new skills and technologies, particularly in the evolving cybersecurity field.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments.
  • Strong documentation skills with logical and thorough information organization.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in high-stress, time-sensitive environments, including swift action during security incidents.
  • Some knowledge of Windows systems administration and/or networking concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of Information Security controls (e.g., CIS Top 20) is a plus.
  • Entry-level Cybersecurity certifications such as ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), CompTIA Security+, or the Google Cybersecurity Certificate are preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure/Entra is a plus but not required.

Pay

$68,000–$76,500 annually.
