Senior Engineer Consultant-Full Stack
About the role
This position partners with stakeholders to design and add value to code development and enhancements for Contact Center Applications. You will work directly with the business to create agentic processes used by all Customer Service Representatives, translating business requirements into solutions. The role involves designing and coding complex, reusable, modular UI components incorporating Service business rules and Real-Time APIs using the Spring Framework. You will be responsible for project deliverables throughout the design, coding, testing, and UAT phases of enterprise projects, while mentoring and guiding US and offshore team members.
Responsibilities
- Design and code complex reusable, modular UI components incorporating business rules.
- Develop Real-Time APIs using the Spring Framework.
- Manage project deliverables across design, coding, testing, and UAT phases.
- Mentor and motivate team members and peers on projects and business impacts.
- Validate and flag gaps to avoid pitfalls in the development lifecycle.
- Make independent decisions that positively impact the overall system and future projects.
- Create innovative solutions to improve efficiency for call center representatives.
- Explore new technologies and process improvements to keep pace with dynamic development needs.
- Focus on reusability to increase speed of delivery for projects.
- Handle complex assignments, including large and medium-scale project designs, API schema definition, and customized UI design for call center applications.
- Implement the assisted channel digital platform with 24x7 availability, ensuring scalability to meet sub-second response times for business SLAs.
- Create project plans, allocate resources, and manage tasks for multiple projects.
- Track milestones and develop mitigation strategies for issues and design gaps.
- Collaborate with analysts, QA leads, and operations leads to align deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience (or equivalent military experience).
- Four or more years of relevant experience in software development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Strong experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting applications in ReactJS, ExtJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Microservices, Java, Spring MVC, SQL, Oracle, and/or other OOP languages.
- Extensive experience in Web UI frameworks, including usability, page transitions, navigation, image caching, and lazy page loading.
- Experience with front-end payload decisions, validations (client and server-side), and UI debugging/profiling tools.
- Experience in performance tuning web applications.
- Experience working with high-availability, mission-critical, large-scale web applications.
- Experience building cloud-native systems with a DevSecOps mindset.
- Experience leading programs/projects with US and offshore development teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to abstract information from existing code.
- Experience developing multi-threaded applications interfacing with other systems.
- Knowledge/experience with AWS Cloud services.
- Excellent object-oriented design and programming skills, including design patterns and refactoring.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
- Experience with Git version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in call center digital platform development (preferred).
- Telecommunications experience (preferred).
- AWS certification (preferred).

Schedule
- Hybrid role with a defined work location, including working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office.
- Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Pay
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $101,000.00 - $194,000.00, depending on location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive-based role with potential for additional earnings. For part-time roles, compensation will be adjusted to reflect hours worked.
