Senior Engineer - Building Enclosure

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead building enclosure investigations, condition assessments, design reviews, and rehabilitation projects with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct and oversee field reviews and performance testing; analyze findings and recommend corrective actions.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to assess risk and develop durable, code-compliant solutions.
  • Develop repair strategies, technical details, specifications, and contract documents aligned with best practices.
  • Manage project financial performance, including scopes, budgets, and key administration tasks.
  • Serve as technical reviewer and provide guidance to project teams to ensure quality and constructability.
  • Strengthen client relationships and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate staff while fostering collaboration, safety, and responsible project stewardship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, or Architectural Science from an accredited university
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng.), or ability to obtain
  • Strong experience in building science principles, enclosure systems, codes, and construction practices

Benefits & Perks

  • Base salary range: $97,000 - $125,000 annualized for a full-time role
  • Discretionary incentives and share ownership
