Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and clean work environment to all visitors and associates at the Melrose Park DC.
  • Manage the warehouse facilities, equipment, and Building and Facility associates to ensure accurate, economical, and efficient operation.
  • Ensure compliance with Company, Distribution Center, Department, and Federal, State, and Local agency guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must have experience working with Anhydrous Ammonia.
  • Must have the ability to operate work-related equipment and tools (hand and power) to include powered equipment, forklifts, man-lifts, pallet jacks, and all types of testing equipment.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to interact with all warehouse employees in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to do repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements required for maintenance, repair, and service procedures.
  • Must have the ability to identify recyclable items and separate them as necessary (scrap metal/iron, all types of batteries, etc.).
  • Must have the ability to learn and follow Company and Distribution Center policies and procedures encompassing work orders, purchase requisitions/orders, spare parts, and supplies inventories.
  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend all labeling on hazardous materials and equipment in the facility(s).
