Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of ammonia refrigeration system maintenance tasks.
- Conduct technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ammonia refrigeration equipment including vessels, evaporators, condensers, pumps, motors, compressors, valves, and other refrigeration equipment.
- Assist in the maintenance and preventive maintenance of all production machinery.
- Address building maintenance needs as requested.
- Ensure the food safety, sanitation, quality, and security of the products produced.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or refrigeration tech OR completion of a refrigeration course with certificate of completion.
- Experience working with ammonia systems, boiler systems, and industrial refrigeration units.
- RETA Certification preferred.
- Knowledge and demonstration of safe work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
