Responsibilities
- Lead the employment group at the New York office
- Advis[e] on employment and labor laws in New York and California
- Guide clients through employment issues
- Draft and revise legal documents
- Handle employment litigation in New York state and federal courts
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of employment law across the US, particularly New York and California
- Some level of portable business (even $300K-$400K is a "home run") — or demonstrated potential to develop one in the right environment
- Experience advising both companies and executives on separations, restrictive covenants, and employment strategy
- Admitted to and in good standing with the New York Bar
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a practice, not just service existing work
