Job Description

The Senior Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for delivering employee relations governance and consulting services to designated internal clients on ER matters. Key skills required include exceptional communication skills, strong relationship skills, action orientation, and the ability to write and document issues clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver consulting services on standard to complex ER matters to dedicated client groups.
  • Work with employees and managers to resolve conflicts and guide towards resolution.
  • Investigate and recommend solutions for employee complaints, including corrective actions or terminations.
  • Document investigations, recommendations, and resolutions for complaints.
  • Coach managers on performance management practices and handle misconduct issues.
  • Consult and provide recommendations on leave of absence and job accommodation requests.
  • Support HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and managers with position elimination activities.
  • Provide change management support and liaise with Legal and ER COE on high-risk issues.
  • Develop and refine company-wide HR policies and tools as needed.
  • Participate in project work supporting the ER COE, HR team, or other functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive ER or HR Generalist experience.
  • Spanish language skills preferred.

Pay and Schedule

  • $86,700.00 - $102,000.00 annually.
  • Varies based on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, total hours worked, job type, business line, and applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Schedule

  • Occasional travel to other C&W locations for investigations and meetings.
