The organization is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial electrical construction projects. This role requires a technically proficient and strategic leader with a strong background in electrical systems, project execution, profitability management, and team development. Familiarity with the Baltimore-area commercial construction market and surrounding counties is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Assistant Project Managers, Foremen, General Foremen, and field crews.
  • Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and successful completion.
  • Support bidding, estimating, take-offs, and project acquisition activities.
  • Coordinate with construction management teams and other trades to maintain schedules and resolve project conflicts.
  • Represent the organization during project meetings and client interactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, inspectors, vendors, and trade partners.
  • Ensure projects meet profitability, quality, schedule, and performance goals.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, NEC codes, safety standards, and industry requirements.
  • Monitor safety performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Oversee project documentation, reporting, change orders, billing, and closeout processes.
  • Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and professional.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate project team members.
  • Support workforce development for helpers, mechanics, and foremen.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the commercial electrical construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and electric power systems.
  • Field experience coordinating with construction management teams and electrical crews.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling, estimating, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.
  • Proven ability to manage profitable project portfolios.
  • Experience managing multiple projects across multiple locations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
  • Experience with large-scale or complex commercial electrical projects.
  • Familiarity with the Baltimore-area commercial construction market.
  • Experience managing relationships with general contractors, owners, inspectors, and trade partners.
